My Story

Hi, I’m Marie-Anne McCrae, a self-taught resin artist originally from a small town in Manitoba. My passion for painting began early in life, inspired by watching Bob Ross on television. I started dabbling in oil painting years ago, but my busy career and family commitments meant that my artistic pursuits took a backseat for some time.

After retiring, I returned to my art and discovered resin. I watched a few videos and was hooked. That’s when I began creating charcuterie boards and serving trays using resin, combining artistry with everyday use. Later, I started making wall art with resin, exploring textured pieces and a combination of both styles.

Through my work, I hope to bring joy to those who view it, inviting each person to find their own meaning and happiness within my creations. My pieces can be found and purchased through my personal website, at various local community markets as well as at Third & Bird Airport Store, just passed security.

I maintain an active presence on Instagram and Facebook, where I share my latest creations and connect with my audience. My artistic journey, from early experimentation to rediscovery and exploration of resin, reflects my enduring commitment to creativity. I encourage others to explore their own artistic voices and hope my work brings a moment of happiness to everyone who experiences it.
